VORTIGHERN

"I'm Vortighern" he revealed. "But it doesn't pay to carry my name on the lips: red shadows pursue my soul."

Vortighern is a dragons' hunter in search for redemption. A curse turned him into a dreadful assassin, whose talents tempt everyone and make him easy prey of adventures and conspiracies. He fights with two ivory's swords: the steel of the dragons, sculpted and sharpened by one of the best master craftsmen of Obscura Vastus. Whenever he's overwhelmed by anger, madness pervades him and his eyes (usually deep red) throb like iridescent amber. Vortighern falls into a trance from which he wakes up only at the end of the battle, between screams and broken swords.

"The cheekbones were too pronounced, the nose sharp and the face long for him to be called beautiful. But he was thin and lithe; his red eyes,
deeply recessed in the orbits under his bushy black eyebrows, instilled the mysterious charm and the same hardness of the earth from which he came from."
